Directors welcome review of Companies Act provision

The Institute of Directors has welcomed the Taoiseach’s announcement last night that there will be a review of the provision relating to Directors’ Compliance Statements contained in the Companies (Auditing and Accounting) Act 2003.

Susan Thornber, chief executive of the IoD said: "The Regulatory Impact Analysis to be carried out on the Statement is a welcome move and will assess the likely cost burden and its impact on business.
