The Government's Consumer Strategy Group has reportedly concluded that the high prices charged for a range of goods and services in Ireland are unjustified.

Reports this morning said the group had found that the high prices charged by pubs, banks, doctors, dentists, restaurants and many other businesses cannot be explained by high operating costs.
