C&C shares upgraded by Merrion

Merrion Stockbrokers has given C&C a boost, adding the company's share to the Merrion "10 Stock Model Portfolio" of top picks in the Irish market.

The decision comes as the Magners brand - Bulmer's for the UK and Northern Ireland market - has proved very successful.

C&C plans to roll out Magners throughout Britain over a three-year period.
