Invest Northern Ireland is to provide €360,000 in support of a €1.6m investment by enterprise software company Oracle Corporation in a Belfast facility.

Invest Northern Ireland is to provide €360,000 in support of a €1.6m investment by enterprise software company Oracle Corporation in a Belfast facility.

Nicky Sheridan, Vice President and Managing Director of Oracle Ireland, said: "We chose Northern Ireland as the location for this new facility because of the availability of experienced IT professionals with a strong academic background, and the support offered by Invest Northern Ireland.

"We are looking forward to working in partnership with Invest NI and establishing links with the local universities in the development of new products and services.”

The new Oracle facility will be located in the Laganside area of Belfast.

Oracle Corporation is the world’s largest enterprise software company and is headquartered in Redwood Shores, California. The company offers database, tools and application products.
