Rolls-Royce signs €197m naval contract

British engines manufacturer Rolls-Royce announced today it had secured a £137m (€197m) contract to maintain gas turbines on naval ships.

British engines manufacturer Rolls-Royce announced today it had secured a £137m (€197m) contract to maintain gas turbines on naval ships.

The firm will take responsibility for powering a total of 27 craft in service with the British, French, Belgian and Royal Netherlands navies, for the next 12 years, under the terms of the deal.
