Swedish car safety manufacturer Autoliv today announced the closure of an airbag manufacturing plant in Britain. Some 520 jobs will be lost.

Swedish car safety manufacturer Autoliv today announced the closure of an airbag manufacturing plant in Britain. Some 520 jobs will be lost.

The Stockholm-based company said the decision to close the plant in Havant, Hampshire, was made in line with its overall cost cutting goals.
