IBEC: 'Costs for ICT firms up 20% in past three years'

The employers' body IBEC has claimed that information and communications technology (ICT) firms have experienced a 20% increase in operating costs over the past three years.

The organisation said a survey it carried out found that the largest increases since 2002 had been in the area of energy costs.
