Online bank Egg sees positive end to year

Online bank Egg said today it had been encouraged by recent trading as it looked to move forward after a year of upheaval.

While annual pre-tax losses of £106.7m (€154m) reflected last year’s decision to close businesses in France, Egg said its domestic arm had made progress.
