Catering exhibition to generate €25m deals

The organisers of the annual Catex catering exhibition have predicted €25m worth of business will be generated at this year's show in Dublin's RDS.

The event, which begins this morning and continues until Thursday afternoon, is expected to attract more than 12,000 visitors.

More than 200 companies are showcasing their wares at the exhibition, which also provides an opportunity for trainee chefs to show off their culinary skills.
