Sky's Irish subscribers hit 347,000

BSkyB said today's financial results for the six months to December 31 last showing continued growth for Sky in Ireland.

Subscribers to Sky Digital reached 347,000. In total, subscribers to Sky Digital increased by 24,000 for the first six months of the financial year.

Over a quarter of all households in Ireland (25.3%) now subscribe to Sky Digital.

Mark Deering, director of Sky Ireland said: “Sky is firmly committed to continuing our investment in Ireland, and we look forward to further growing our business here in the future."
