The ISEQ index has risen 20.30 points in morning trading today to stand at 6,518.83, with financial stocks climbing steadily.
More positive news coming from US banks helped push the Irish banks' shares higher. Shares in Allied Irish Bank climbed 4c to €15.53 while Bank of Ireland shares stand at €12.23, up 8c.
