Knock Airport has announced that the airport has served its three millionth passenger since it first opened in 1986.

Knock Airport has announced that the airport has served its three millionth passenger since it first opened in 1986.

Liam Scollan, Chief Executive, Knock International Airport said: "I am delighted to welcome Knock International Airport’s three millionth passenger to the airport, a significant milestone for the airport.

"Last year we had a record year with over 370,000 passengers and we expect to welcome over 500,000 passengers in 2005."

The passenger was travelling on a bmibaby flight from Manchester and was presented with a one‑week sun holiday for two courtesy of Michael Stein Travel, return flights to the UK with bmibaby, champagne and flowers.
