Survey ranks IBI as busiest corporate advisor

A survey of corporate finance activity in Ireland by Mergermarket today ranks IBI Corporate Finance as Ireland’s busiest corporate finance adviser with the largest number of deals in 2004.

In league tables produced by Mergermarket for corporate finance activity for the two successive years, 2004 and 2003, IBI Corporate Finance was highest in terms of the number of transactions it advised on in the Irish marketplace.

Davy Corporate Finance was second while KPMG Corporate Finance was third overall, although at €1.254bn the value of KPMG's was much greater than either IBI or Davy.

The league tables rank the top 15 domestic and international investment banks and corporate finance firms according to the number of completed M&A transactions they were involved in during 2004.
