ISME condemns Government planning decision

Independent business organisation ISME has condemned the decision by the Government to remove the cap on retail planning guidelines, branding it as a direct attack on smaller indigenous retailers and suppliers.

The decision, which could see IKEA set up a giant outlet in Dublin, was lashed as "shortsighted" and ISME warned it will leading to company closures and job losses.
