The Central Statistics Office has reported a 1.2% increase in the volume of retail sales in Ireland in the 12 months to the end of October this year.

The Central Statistics Office has reported a 1.2% increase in the volume of retail sales in Ireland in the 12 months to the end of October this year.

The CSO said the value of such sales increased by 2.8% in the 12-month period, with price increases accounting for the difference in the two figures.
