Cadbury sticks with targets despite predicted profit fall

Confectionery group Cadbury Schweppes today stuck by its financial goals despite a likely fall in profits at its European drinks business.

Confectionery group Cadbury Schweppes today stuck by its financial goals despite a likely fall in profits at its European drinks business.

The company said turnover growth in 2004 was expected to be at the lower end of its target of 3% to 5% after stripping out the effect of currency swings. Margins should also be within its range of forecasts.
