€100m expansion planned at Drogheda Port

Drogheda Port Company has announced a €100m expansion plan which, it said, could create thousands of jobs along the east coast.

The company said it was planning to expand its existing facilities in Drogheda and to open a new port operation at Bremore, near Balbriggan in north Dublin, by 2008.
