Corkman becomes JCI World President

Corkman Kevin Cullinane has been elected Junior Chamber International World President at the 59th JCI World Congress held in Fukuoka, Japan.

He is employed as International Marketing Manager at Heineken Ireland in Cork where he has responsibility for the domestic and export sales of Murphy's Irish Stout and Murphy's Irish Red Beer.

Mr Cullinane is JCI’s 60th President and will preside over JCI’s Diamond anniversary year. He is the second Irish person to hold this prestigious title.

Hailing from Cobh, Mr Cullinane was nominated by JCI Ireland. He chaired the JCI European Conference in Istanbul, Turkey in June 2002.

His three focus areas under the 2005 JCI Business Plan will be membership, marketing and media.
