Compass makes €8.3m in Ireland

Compass Group, the world’s largest food-service organisation, has announced its preliminary results for the year ending September 30, 2004.

Compass is active in Ireland through its Eurest workplace catering division. This year was a good one for Eurest’s expansion in Ireland, with new clients including Bank of Ireland, Dublin Zoo and Halifax Insurance.

Global turnover was £11.8bn (€16.6bn), up 7% on a like-for-like basis, with business gains of over €8.3m in Ireland.
