Ryanair is planning to establish 10 new services from Shannon Airport over the next five years, as part of an agreement with the new authority appointed to run the Co Clare airport.

Ryanair is planning to establish 10 new services from Shannon Airport over the next five years, as part of an agreement with the new authority appointed to run the Co Clare airport.

Details of the new routes are due to be announced later this morning.

The airline is expected to confirm the re-establishment of the Shannon to Frankfurt-Hahn service that was moved to Kerry last year, as well as further flights to Britain and Europe.

Ryanair began its day's trading on the ISEQ at €5.10.
