Irish Ferries sailings facing cancellation
All Irish Ferries sailings between Ireland and Britain are facing cancellation this Thursday due to strike action by SIPTU members.
The union served notice of the 24-hour stoppage on all Irish Sea services yesterday.
The industrial action was organised in protest at the company’s decision to outsource employment on its sailings between Rosslare and France next year.
Further stoppages are also likely if the dispute is not resolved.
Parent company Irish Continental opened on the ISEQ at €11.20 this morning.
