Hibernian appoint Life & Pensions MD

Hibernian chief executive Bryan Jenkins announced today that current group finance director Tony O’Riordan has been appointed to the position of managing director of Hibernian Life & Pensions.

Tony O’Riordan has been with the company since 1998. He was director of finance for Hibernian Life & Pensions and Norwich Union Life prior to the merger of the two companies in 2000. He was appointed group finance director in 2001.

Prior to this he was head of finance and actuary with Scottish Provident Ireland, before which he spent time in London working for the Swiss Bank Corporation and later for Tillinghast actuarial consultancy.
