Irish Catholic appoints new editor

A 33-year-old journalist has been appointed editor of The Irish Catholic magazine.

Garry O’Sullivan is currently communications manager for the Irish Jesuits, and was also formerly a senior journalist with The Irish Catholic.

He will take up his appointment at the 116-year-old weekly publication in the next few weeks.

He has worked for Vatican Radio, The Irish Voice in New York and also edited The Word magazine, as well as contributing to a number of daily and Sunday newspapers.
