New LogicaCMG appointment in the Czech Republic

LogicaCMG today announced the appointment of Pavel Kalasek as the new chief executive for its central and eastern European business, which has offices in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Pavel joins from HP where he was the managing director of the Czech Republic business.

His role will be to build on the foundations of the current LogicaCMG business and develop the company’s activities in its key markets. These include financial services, telecommunications, energy and utilities, industry, distribution and transport, and the public sector .

The group's ambition is to become a global top 10 IT services player, by revenue, within the next five years, LogicaCMG said today.

Commenting on his appointment, Pavel said: “The strength of the company’s offerings combined with its focus on delivery will establish us as a genuine force to be reckoned with in the region. I look forward to taking LogicaCMG to the next step in its development.”
