Minister opens Alteras Services Centre

Minister for Trade and Commerce Michael Ahern today opened the new European Shared Services Centre of Altera European Trading in the Cork Airport Business Park.

Altera is a manufacturer of programmable logic devices, which is one of the fastest growing sectors of the semiconductor industry. It plans to create up to 60 new high-level jobs over the next five years at the Cork Centre.
