Virgin Mobile stuck by forecasts for annual profits today in spite of the prospect of weaker margins and revenues growth over Christmas.

The group said it was ā€œcomfortableā€ with City expectations after reporting a 14% rise in pre-tax profits to Ā£47.3m (ā‚¬67.3m) in the six months to September 30.
