Virgin Mobile stuck by forecasts for annual profits today in spite of the prospect of weaker margins and revenues growth over Christmas.

The group said it was “comfortable” with City expectations after reporting a 14% rise in pre-tax profits to £47.3m (€67.3m) in the six months to September 30.
