M&S bring in star support for Christmas campaign

Marks and Spencer is using a celebrity-packed advertising campaign to help boost sales this Christmas, it announced today.

A festive television commercial for the embattled chain features pop star Rachel Stevens, actresses Martine McCutcheon and Helen Mirren, plus celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Actor Rupert Everett, TV host Des Lynam and Vicar of Dibley actress Emma Chambers complete the line-up.

The launch of the new campaign comes in the same week that M&S announced another set of disappointing sales results.
