Marks and Spencer is using a celebrity-packed advertising campaign to help boost sales this Christmas, it announced today.

A festive television commercial for the embattled chain features pop star Rachel Stevens, actresses Martine McCutcheon and Helen Mirren, plus celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
