PRSAs a success as 37,000 accounts opened

The latest figures available show that 37,000 Personal Retirement Savings Accounts have been opened since their launch last year.

The total value of assets stands at €106m.

Some 18,000 employees have taken one out through their employers, who are obliged under the law to provide a scheme for workers.
