ISEQ continues to climb

Irish Life & Permanent made strong gains this morning as the ISEQ index of shares added 18.63 to 5653.61 at 10.45am.

ILP added 25c to €13.35. There was little movement amonth the other financials, however, with AIB and Anglo Irish remaining unchanged at €13.55 and €15.20 respectively.

Warner Chilcott added, 24c, or 2%, to €12.22.

Budget airline Ryanair shed 5c to €3.78 amid heavy trading.
