VHI launch new range of health plans

VHI Healthcare has launched ‘LifeStage Choices’ – a new health insurance package.

This includes three sets of health insurance options from which customers can choose a plan most relevant to their life-stage. These new plans have been carefully developed, based on extensive market research.

Launching the new products, Vincent Sheridan, chief executive of VHI Healthcare, said: “LifeStage Choices have been designed to meet the demands of current and future members and significantly enhance our product offering. Our members now have more choice and a greater range of healthcare plans to meet their individual needs."

LifeStage Choices incorporates three sets of plans specifically designed to meet people’s needs as their priorities and commitments change over their lifetime.

‘First Plans’ are aimed primarily at young singles, starting out on the healthcare ladder, who are looking for relevant hospital cover and cover for everyday medical occurrences and other activities such as sports and travel.

‘Family Plans’ are for those with children or intending to have children, and include comprehensive mother and baby benefits, as well as cover for child home nursing.

‘Forward Plan’ offers the broadest range. It is ideal for an older person and includes enhanced screening and aftercare services.

First Plans cost from just over €34 per month, Family Plans from just over €35 per month, and Forward Plan cost from just over €66 per month.
