ISEQ off to a positive start
The financials led the way this morning as the ISEQ gained 33.75 points to 5,639.71 by 11am.
Amid heavy trading, both AIB and Bank of Ireland were up. AIB gained 6c to €13.73, while Bank of Ireland added 10c to €10.75.
Anglo Irish and Irish Life & Permanent both stayed static at €15.30 and €13 respectively.
Elan shares surged ahead this morning, adding 54c, or 2.89%, to €19.25.
Warner Chilcott plc stood at €19.84 this morning after adding a whopping €8.29, 71.77%, this morning.
