Top Security buys South African interests

The Top Security Group has bough South African firms Standby Security and Claw Security in deals worth a total of more than €3.75m, the company announced today.

Irish-owned Top Security provides security solutions to a range of blue chip and SME businesses in Ireland and South Africa.

Today’s announcement comes after recent confirmation that the group had acquired Systemhouse Technology Group Ltd. In a deal worth in excess of €7m.

Top Security group boss Emmet O’Rafferty said: “The deals we have announced today provide us with stronger platforms in areas of the market where we are keen to expand our service offering.

Top Security have been operating in the South African market since 1994 and now employ more than 2,000 people in Johannesburg and the surrounding areas. The group is head-quartered in Dublin and employs more than 500 people in Ireland.
