Casino operator Stanley Leisure today unveiled plans to bring a slice of Las Vegas to Yorkshire in England in a move that could also create more than 1,000 jobs.

The proposed regional casino complex next to Leeds United’s Elland Road football ground would cost up to £125m (€180.7m) and rival any other development in the UK, the group said.
