Troubled Jarvis appoints new chief

British engineering group Jarvis today said the former boss of tennis racket maker Dunlop Slazenger was to become its new chief executive.

British engineering group Jarvis today said the former boss of tennis racket maker Dunlop Slazenger was to become its new chief executive.

Jarvis, whose previous chief executive Kevin Hyde stepped down last month, said it had appointed Alan Lovell to the post with immediate effect.
