Lillie's Bordello withdrawn from auction

The nightclub of choice for Ireland's gliterati has been withdrawn from auction after failing to fetch the asking price.

Lillie's Bordello off Dublin's Grafton Street did not receive a single offer when bidding opened at €4m at the Shelbourne Hotel this afternoon.

Despite the presence of well-known pub-chain-owners, the property was taken off the market by Young Auctioneers.

It is thought the club may now sell in private bidding.
