Cork to get 200-job factory
More than 200 new jobs were announced for Cork today, say the Evening Echo..
AK Pharma, who provide engineering solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, are to set up at Cork Airport Business Park.
Details of the major investment will add considerably to Cork’s reputation as the pharmaceutical leader in the country.
Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment, Micheál Martin was to make the jobs announcement later today.
AK Pharma will join a host of other companies currently based at the park, including Pfizers, Motorola, Analogue Devices and Logica.
Today’s jobs boost is the second for Cork within days.
