Ryanair have released figures showing its passenger numbers for September have risen 17% year on year to 2.37 million.

Ryanair have released figures showing its passenger numbers for September have risen 17% year on year to 2.37 million.

The load factor, ie the proportion of seats sold, for the month was 87%, a rise of 2% on September 2003.

Ryanair spokesman Paul Fitzsimmons said: "This is another record month for Ryanair, carrying more passengers with improved load factors than September last year."
