Report: Ex-supermarket boss to keep share award
Former Sainsbury’s boss Sir Peter Davis is to keep a bumper share award that caused anger among investors earlier this year, it was reported today.
Lawyers are believed to have told the company there is little it can do to renegotiate the package, which gave Davis 864,000 shares – worth around £2.4m (€3.5m) at today’s price – for the 2003/04 financial year.
