Cruise firm counts cost of hurricane

Cruise ship operator Carnival Corporation today said it expected the hurricane that wrought havoc in Florida would cost it up to £18m (€27m).

Carnival said it estimated that the impact on its fourth quarter earnings of Hurricane Frances would be between $24m $32m.
