Heineken group profits down 27%
The Heineken group's half-year profits are down 27% on last year, the company announced today.
Heineken reported organic net profit growth of 6%, with sales of the Heineken brand in the premium segment up 5.8%, rising to 9.5 million hectolitres. The company's sales volumes increased by 5% during the first six months of the year, while the total beer market was down 5.6% on the same time last year.
