Ryanair 20% ahead of BA in August

Low cost airline Ryanair today announced that it carried almost 20% more passengers than BA in UK/Europe during August, one of the busiest months of the year for UK air travel.

It also said it out-performed BA with better load factors – the percentage of available seats filled.

Ryanair’s head of communications, Paul Fitzsimmons said: "More passengers are choosing Ryanair than BA for travel in UK/Europe because Ryanair offers consumers Europe’s lowest airfares, best punctuality, fewest flight cancellations, and fewest lost bags."
