The Irish Bank Officials Association (IBOA) has held a strategy meeting about the future of National Irish and Northern Banks.

The Irish Bank Officials Association (IBOA) has held a strategy meeting about the future of National Irish and Northern Banks.

It follows the recent High Court Inspectors report into National Irish Bank and constant speculation about the impending sale of both banks.

The IBOA, which represents around 20,000 bank staff on both sides of the border, is writing to the Competition Authority, as well as the Office of Fair Trading in Britain, and the European Commission to outline its concerns.
