New Copenhagen office for Tourism Ireland
Tourism Ireland has announced that it is to open a new regional headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Nordic markets have grown in importance for Irish tourism, with an increase of 14% last year, and further rises are expected this year.
Tourism Ireland has begun consolidating marketing for the region in an attempt to continue boosting growth.
Air links are viewed as being significant in achieving this aim, and Aer Lingus currently fly between Copenhagen and Dublin, while Finnair and SAS provide services to Finland.
