Irish companies get EU tender alert service
Irish companies are now able to access €1.5 trillion of Public Procurement contracts throughout the EU.
The Dublin Euro Info Centre has launched a Tender Alert Service which will provide participating companies with daily alerts concerning tenders for procurement contracts by any public body throughout the EU.
Dr Ann Neville stated: “This will enable any company, large or small, to effectively bid for any public sector purchase for goods or services in Ireland or anywhere in the EU 25 Member States.”
Located at the Irish Exporters Association, Dublin Euro Info Centre is a European Commission funded body offering specialist advice and support to businesses in the Greater Dublin Region.
Using specially developed software which scans the database of current tender opportunities published in the Official Journal of the European Union the EIC can send out daily alerts on all the tenders which appear in a company’s area or areas of interest.
This is a fully customised service individualised to meet the needs of participating companies.
As well as providing information on tenders Dublin EIC can offer general advice and support on the whole bidding process.
As part of a European Commission network, the Irish EICs, of which there are five, have access to specialist advisors in Public Procurement based in Brussels.
