Bosses of trouble-hit British Airways today vowed to put their recent difficulties behind them as they joined airport staff to help cope with the UK Bank Holiday exodus.

Chief Executive Rod Eddington and members of the company’s board of directors were on duty at Heathrow Airport this morning speaking to passengers and staff after a troubled week for the airline.
