Meat industry says IFA protests could damage beef trade

Representatives of the Irish meat industry have warned farmers that their protest outside the Kepak plant in Athleague, Co Roscommon, could harm the Irish beef trade.

The Irish Farmers' Association is currently picketing the factory in protest at reductions in the prices offered for cattle.
