Engineers welcome increased interest from school-leavers

Engineers are welcoming the increase in demand for engineering courses.

General interest in Degree and Cert courses is up on last year.

However, the Institute of Engineers in Ireland has expressed concern about this year’s high failure rate in higher and lower level maths and science subjects.
