Campbell Catering nabs €12m in new business
Contract caterers Campbell Catering has announced new business growth of more than €12m in turnover for the first 10 months of their financial year, to July 31, 2004.
This company won 38 new contracts across a range of industry sectors, which will generate up to €45m over the life of the contracts.
Campbell Catering employs more than 3,000 people in 350 locations throughout Ireland and serves more than 150,000 people every day.
Executive chairman Dan Cronin said: "The first 10 months are ahead of expectations. This strong new business growth has been accompanied by a high contract retention rate of 95%. Our average contract retention rate is 19 years. We are well on track to achieve our new business target and the pipeline remains encouraging for the remainder of the year."
Campbell Catering is owned by Campbell Bewley Group and Aramark, a US services and facilities management company. A Fortune Magazine Top 100 company, Aramark has an annual turnover of $13bn (€10.6bn) and employs more than 200,000 worldwide.
Campbell Catering is headquartered in Dublin with regional offices in Belfast, Cork and Limerick.
The company provides catering, retail and vending services to a broad range of organisations including indigenous and multi-national businesses in the pharmaceutical, IT and manufacturing sectors, as well as institutions in the educational and healthcare sector.
Turnover for the full year to September 30, 2003 was in the region of €127m.
