The London market was in upbeat form today as traders expressed relief at lower oil prices and a lack of negative corporate updates.

The London market was in upbeat form today as traders expressed relief at lower oil prices and a lack of negative corporate updates.

By mid-morning the FTSE 100 Index stood 9.8 points higher at 4360.0, advancing further on last night’s 50 point rise.
