Airport holiday chaos if BA talks fail - union

Crucial talks aimed at averting travel chaos at airports over the August Bank Holiday weekend will be held today after a union representing thousands of check-in and other staff at British Airways named dates for 24-hour strikes.

The GMB said workers will walk out on either August 27, 28, 29 or 30 unless a long running row over pay is resolved.
